![]() ![]() They take anything back if it's defective or not as stated. I bought mine from a place I buy alot of plane parts from. servo's as alot of people are swapping stickers. Read my 1st post YOU MUST GET THE 2nd gen. ![]() get the hitec's if your not sure or not willing to experiment. Worst comes to worst I use the hitecs in a plane, they won't fit my mini BL revo.Īlso like Badasspony said. If that's long enough I just may buy more.įor now I have Hitecs in reserve and OEM servos also. so far with me they are a hit and will run them until they give up the ghost. It's been in the high 30's/low 40's here and one place has been is the sun the whole time. Didn't even have to correct for over steer. flipped the washer and screw up the stairs. I was 1/2 way up the stairs when it popped. I replaced the screw with a bigger one and the servo is still holding up. I used the redcat horn, and redcat linkage. Yesterday I stripped the servo horn from the steering linkage. Time will tell on these, but for a 1st run they work great better than the stock ones even when the stock ones worked. I don't know if RCC.com has a sponsor vendor. Plenty of power and torque but the case is made of cheap plastic and is brittle. Comments: Worked great till the servo case cracked at the mount points and fell apart. I know RCU.com is funny about mentioning non-tower hobbies vendors. Application(s): 1/10 offroad truggy steering servo. I would recommend the seller of these but do not know if that is allowed or not. Tower Pro's mg995's are 13.00 each after shipping, 26.00 a pair shipped. Hitec's are 25.00 - 35.00 each plus shipping. I still have the hitec's on th way but I'm gonna run these till they break. At least that was the case on the 1st generation run. Make sure to get REAL tower Pro's servos when buying them. and as hard as I beat the RS10 today I'm suprised I didn't break SOMETHING on it.įor the 25.95 shipped for a pair, I say these are a great buy.Īs far as a inexpensive monetary upgrade they fit the bill well. The MG995's on my RS10 are not over streering now that they are centered.Īnd have high enough torque to turn the front or rear while under extreme pressure Such as climbing the stairs and other things, with no chatter or whining from them. Making them unsuitable for flights or Comp. The 1st gen just over steered and stopped where ever it felt like it. the second gen will go back to that same point of over steer every time after you move them back and forth a few times. These still have the over steer like the 1st gen. When installing them you will need to adjust for the over steer while both the TX and RX are on. I didn't even bother to crack them open and make sure they had lithium grease in them, wanted to test them as they came. Ran a full battery through them in the house in total four steer. I hooked up the elevators and found that the 3010 moved just as fast as the Towerpro 995MG, using a 6V battery, even though Towerpro's specs. Got these in the mail today and installed them. The Towerpro made a constant digital humming noise, even when not attached to the control surface. ![]()
